Agenda 2030 and the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs)

The 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development sets out 17 Goals with 169 integrated and indivisible targets that encompass the economic, social, and environmental spheres, aiming to strengthen universal peace, access to justice, and prosperity.

It was adopted by 193 United Nations Member States, who committed to mobilizing the necessary means for its implementation through partnerships focused especially on the needs of the poorest and most vulnerable.

The Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) constitute a universal call to action to end poverty, protect the planet, and improve people's lives and prospects worldwide.
