Not to mention, the realm of virtual reality, where people interact within a virtual environment for purposes such as entertainment or education.
The future of industry lies in the development of autonomous or electric vehicles, exploring new forms of mobility. It encompasses the digital industry, the modeling of industrial processes, the creation of new materials that are lightweight, customizable, and capable of generating energy during phase changes. It involves industrial product design, additive manufacturing, construction management, sustainability, and robotics.

For this future society, we need professionals who can not only meet the highest technical demands but also possess leadership skills, empathy, management acumen, and a commitment to equality.
At Nebrija, our students primarily acquire these skills through experiential learning. They undertake internships in companies, participate in real projects (such as Dakar, Nebrija satellite), and work on Final Degree Projects for their Bachelor's (TFG) and Master's (TFM) degrees linked to companies and researchers. This includes understanding the level of maturity of Technology Readiness Level (TRL) in the projects.

Science Week
Nebrija University and EPS actively participate in Madrid's Science Week, an event for scientific dissemination organized by the Community of Madrid through the madri+d Foundation for Knowledge, with the aim of bringing science closer to citizens.
International Day of Women and Girls in Science
The UN declared February 11 as the International Day of Women and Girls in Science, to give recognition and visibility to women dedicated to science and technology, and promote scientific and technological vocations in girls and adolescents. The EPS joins this initiative by organizing talks in which women working in STEM professions (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Mathematics) share their thoughts on the situation of women in science through their work experiences.
Conference with VmWARE
The last 2 years we have been lucky to have the VmWARE team to teach us about SDDC & Virtualization and Multi-cloud Project Management.
Design Conference
The objective of the sessions is to create an exhibition space for debate and reflection on design. The conferences focus on both the professional and academic fields, with specialist speakers in their various fields.
The format aims to bring us closer to the current design scene to discover new disciplines, intentions and ways of approaching it. The event also aims to reinforce and make visible Nebrija University's commitment to design as a tool for innovation and transformation of society.
Books, Math and Beyond
Since 2018, the Royal Spanish Mathematical Society and Nebrija University have co-organized an annual event aimed at promoting Mathematics through various initiatives, including editorial features and outreach activities. The goal is to bring Mathematics closer to the public, making it more visible and relevant to everyday life, while fostering an appreciation for scientific literature. Titled 'Books, Math, and Beyond,' this event gathers esteemed popularizers and authors each year, alongside a diverse array of activities dedicated to the dissemination of Mathematics. These activities encompass video channels, mathematical excursions, comic strips, radio programs, competitions, as well as engaging elements like magic and music.

Nebrija to Dakar
The Nebrija to Dakar project was born with the aim of taking this sporting challenge to a training and technological aspect. It is conceived as a real university project in which students are the protagonists and the fundamental pillar in the redesign and technological improvement of a car for the 2023 Dakar Rally. In this way, Nebrija to Dakar aims to contribute to the professional and personal development of our students, valuing practical training as an academic format to prepare professionals for the future of the automotive industry.
Sustainability Conference
Nebrija University's Polytechnic School organizes the sustainability conference for our future engineers to learn about the strategies that some of the most cutting-edge companies in our country are carrying out, aimed at decarbonizing the industry. The University has spent years following the work of many experts and professionals in this area, and we will fortunately be able to host some of them in this event; it is always fortunate to be able to count on people who work to make our world a better place.
Nebrija Quantum Connection
Conference that brings together different business actors of Quantum Computing in Spain in order to promote its dissemination and present the state of this sector in our country.
Nebrija University as member of NEB - NEW EUROPEAN BAUHAUS
New European Bauhaus: beautiful, sustainable, together, is the project promoted by the President of the European Commission, Ursula Von der Leyen in a context in which Europe must face new challenges in a complex and changing world. Architecture and design will participate in this future that will illuminate a more beautiful, sustainable and inclusive reality. Nebrija University has joined as a partner of this project along with some of the most relevant institutions in the whole of the European Union. This is an initiative that will be built from different perspectives and where our university wants to be a venue of debates and dissemination of this new Europe that, together, we are promoting. Names like Carlo Ratti (Director, MIT SENSEable City Lab), Lina Ghotmet (Serpentine Pavillion 2023) and ROTOR (material environment) have participated as guests of our EPS - School of Architecture, within this European plan.
